Frequently Asked Questions

About Arsteria Yarns

Arsteria Yarns is a hand dyed yarn studio dedicated to creating vibrant, unique colourways for fibre artists. Each skein is carefully dyed by hand, meaning no two skeins are exactly alike, that's the beauty of hand dyed yarn! We pour our love of colour and craft into every batch.

About Hand Dyed Yarn

Hand dyed yarn is yarn that has been dyed in small batches using artisan techniques rather than industrial processes. Because of this, slight variations in colour (known as "pooling" or "tonal variation") are a natural and celebrated characteristic. We recommend purchasing enough yarn from the same dye lot for your project to ensure colour consistency.

Shipping Times

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days. Once shipped, delivery times vary depending on your location:

  • Canada: 5–10 business days

You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has shipped.

Pre-Orders

We occasionally offer pre-orders for upcoming colourways and limited edition collections. Pre-order items are clearly marked on the product listing. Please note:

  • Pre-orders are charged at the time of purchase.
  • Estimated ship dates are listed on each pre-order product page.
  • If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, your entire order will ship together once the pre-order item is ready. If you would like your in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.
  • If you have any questions about a pre-order, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!
